Volunteering

Teamwork: Individuals working together for the benefit of all!

Summer Sunday School Volunteers
Our regular Sunday School program takes a recess after Father's Day, June 19th. Summer Sunday School will not be held this year due to our renovations. It will resume in 2008 beginning on Sunday, July 13th. We need volunteers! We combine all grades and look for a teacher each week that will be willing to tell a Bible story, have a short craft or activity, and share some snack. If you would be willing to do this on any Sunday over the summer months, please put your name on the Summer Sunday School sign-up sheet in the Coffee Hour area! Any questions? Contact Pastor Todd.

Sunday Nursery Volunteers are needed to help care for the children during the 10am service a few Sundays a year. Please call the church office, 610-828-3098, if you are willing to help.

Transportation Volunteers
A number of our members who are confined to their homes have commented that they miss worshipping with their friends at St. Peter's and would come if they had a ride. We'd like to make rides available on a monthly basis, preferable on Communion Sundays (first of the month). If you are willing to offer the wonderful gift of a Sunday morning ride to one or more of our shut-ins, or if you'd like to request a ride, please call the church office at 610-828-3098.

The Mutual Ministry Committee wants you to know that we are here and ready to serve the team at St. Peter's Lutheran Church! If you have a concern, praise or suggestion, the Mutual Ministry Committee wants to hear from you!

You may contact a member directly or write via the Mutual Ministry mailbox. It is a locked box located in the corner stairwell at the rear of the sanctuary. All comments will be held in confidence and followed up as appropriate. We are sure you understand that signed communications will lend credibility to your comments, as well as assist the committee with their response. The Mutual Ministry Committee is a link between the congregation and the church staff. Our hope is to support all of the members of our team, improve communication, address problems and reinforce people and programs that nurture the ministry of St. Peter's! Thank you in advance for your support!
