Stewardship

God has given us the opportunity to provide a great ministry at St. Peter's. He has also given us resources in the talents and treasures of our members. You have been placed here to be Stewards -- to care of God's creations. Please give prayerful thought to how you will support St. Peter's.

Simply Giving Program

Simply Giving is a reliable, safe way to move your stewardship plan into action. It allows you to share your gifts through planned giving and activates your generosity into ongoing stewardship. Because your gift is given consistently, you won't need to play "catch-up" at year-end or worry about forgotten checkbooks or missed Sunday offerings. But you're not the only one that benefits. St. Peter's benefits from steady, more predictable revenues throughout the year, more efficient bookkeeping and greater confidence in meeting its financial commitments. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans offers Simply Giving to further its mission of serving Lutheran congregations and institutions. To participate, complete the enrollment form and get it to us by:

  • Mailing it to the church office:

Hal Schwartz, Business Manager

St. Peter's Lutheran Church

3025 Church Road

Lafayette Hill, PA 19444-1107

  • Faxing it to the church: (610) 828-3232

  • Placing it in the offering.

Please contact Hal Schwartz if you have any questions.

Time and Talent

St. Peter's sponsors a host of activities for the congregation and the community. If you are interested in becoming involved with one, or several, of these programs, please be welcome by joining us, and relish the fun and fellowship. Please see the committees and volunteers pages for contact information. Contact the church office for a time and talent worksheet to indicate your interest in supporting St. Peter's with your special gifts and interests.

Looking for a Sign

While there are many spiritual connotations to the idea of looking for a sign, this time we mean it literally. We are looking for patrons to donate signs for St. Peter's! Since our renovation, many of our members, visitors, and even staff members (hint, Vicar Jim) have had trouble figuring out what's where and how to navigate our halls and stairwells. Click here to learn what we need and how you can help.
