St. Peter's History Book is a comprehensive history book and was published for St. Peter's 250th Anniversary celebration. It includes letters of commendation from the President of the United States, Synodical Bishops, Governor of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Senator Specter, Montgomery County and Whitemarsh Township.

The history starts with the original settlers of the Wissahickon Valley, the trials and tribulations from the diary of Dr. Henry Muhlenberg and our church forefathers in forming this church, the misery of maintaining a church during the American Revolution, General Lafayette's stand at Barren Hill against the British and Hessian troops, the origins of the name Barren Hill, history of St. Peter's Barren Hill Cemetery.

Also included are church functions and activities, descriptions of the church buildings that served St. Peter's congregation, reflections of church members, and short biographies of all Pastors that served at St. Peter's during the 250 years. The book has many pictures that compliment the text.
