Fellowship
Throughout the year you will be offered opportunities to share in fellowship with other members of the family of God. Providing a wholesome environment where people of all ages are able to share in various activities without worrying about the appropriateness of its content is a valuable ministry.
Coffee Hour is a time after worship where we informally share fellowship over some light refreshments. You can greet friends and make new acquaintances which help your relationships within the congregation grow. We can always use bakers. The Coffee Hour counter is through the door at the rear of the church on the right hand side. Come join us!
Oktoberfest is a German style festival in October with a band providing ethnic music, cooks providing ethnic food and a congregation providing a lot of fun.
Boar's Head Festival celebrates the triumph of good over evil, begun with the birth at Christmas and manifested as Savior of the whole creation at Epiphany. Join us for this festive event in January. Tickets required.
National Heritage Bell Ringing: July 4th
Young Families is a group that provides many opportunities throughout the year for entire families to share in family fellowship. Often groups can get better prices for events, making it advantageous to combine resources. This is also a good way for children to meet other children in the congregation--as well as their parents. Some planned events have been Ski Trips, Ice Skating, Hayrides, Treats-from-the-Trunk (Halloween Trick or Treating), museum trips and Social Ministry projects.
S.P.Y. (St. Peter's Youth)
also
provides fellowship opportunities. See Youth Ministry page for further
information.
Fastnacht Sunday is a social event held prior to Lent with
homemade Fastnachts (dough-nuts).
Every Member's Birthday in June celebrates birthdays of the
entire congregation. Tables are decorated for each month with cakes
baked by various members. Don't miss your birthday party!
